Sunday 13th August – Rhydymain and surrounds.

We had a window of opportunity with some fine weather so it was a matter of putting on the walking boots and head out to do the Precipice Walk in them thar hills.

This walk was about four miles around a hill covered in heather which was turning purple due to the time of year. It was a little hairy in a few sections but we did survive.

It was then off to a pub for a sandwich followed by a further walk along the old train line which followed the estuary for a further three miles.
Certainly earned our dinner this evening and an early bed.
