Today was about enjoying time around the house and garden.
Fras got stuck into helping Karen plant some rose bushes, hydrangeas, clematis and other shrubs whilst Di came around with the watering can, to help them get established. There is still a hose pipe ban on in London and rightly so as there has still be no significant rain.
There has been a great deal of thought put into the plants and the layout of the garden and it is starting to pay off already.
After a bit of recovery time, we headed out for a walk around the neighbourhood where Karen pointed out her childhood home, first flat and some lovely green spaces.
Home in time to sort out some dinner and then plan the next few days which are going to be very hectic.
