Zero to comment on as we were moored in Welton Hythe marina for the day. We spent the morning cleaning and tidying up and also polishing the boat. This last activity was pretty tough but the end result was well worth the effort.
W+M arrived at midday and after a bit of catch up and bite to eat we headed into Daventry so that they could stock up the larder. Our job for the remainder of the afternoon was to sit down with our feet up and read our books whilst they raced around like headless chooks getting themselves settled back in.
In the evening we caught up with their friends from Australia Colin and Mary and their daughter. They have owned a narrowboat for 15 years making the trip from Oz to the UK to feed their addiction. Otherwise, it really was a non eventful day.
