We made it, finally. Seventeen (17) days in total.

We crossed from New Mexico to Arizona at 11.00am and had plain sailing all the way. Phoenix is a huge city with seven land freeways and crazy speeds. We are going to do our utmost to not drive on the I60 which is a racetrack.

So google says 6,832k in total for the trip but our odometer reading says 6,607k – the discrepancy is probably some routing on the map not being the actual course we took. We were in the car for approximately 71 hours – we now have flat arses.

As you can see, the weather for the next week is perfectly satisfactory.

We spent the rest of the day emptying the car after getting to Venture Out at 1.10pm. Our accommodation is so much better than last year, and it feels like a tiny home.
Going forward we will only blog once a week as it will get too repetitive and there are only so many times you can talk about pickleball, swimming, rowing, line dancing, cards, lots of drinking and socialising and many more activities.
Hi , good to see you arrived safely Your weather predictions are the same as NZ
Have a great time Cheers Wilma
