We had our first downtime day on Saturday which gave us a chance to catch up with washing. Chris got a set of petanca balls for his birthday so some of us went off and christened them.

It was then off to watch Quentin play football (soccer) and be his cheer squad. They are super serious here about their football as it is a way of life just like ice hockey is to Canada and cricket to England.
Melanie asked Di to give Cohen a life lesson in ironing clothes as there was a bit to do for our big day tomorrow.
It was then off to the paddle ball court for an introduction to this different racquet ball game. It is more like a combination of tennis and squash whereas pickleball is more table tennis, badminton and tennis. It was a lot of fun.
The rest of the day was just chilling out around the house.
Steps 8432.
There has been a bit of a hiatus from the blog as Di got a nasty case of gastro on Sunday. Not sure how long it will take to catch up as she isn’t feeling at all creative.
